Climate changes?

Then a very early, hot and dry summer, very problematic on the sandy soils where I live and where also water restrictions applied for several weeks. Luckily, we managed to keep alive most of the vegetables, and even had delicious cauliflowers, swiss chard, courgettes and lots of salads. Last week, the season of the Frenc climbing beans started, also a big success.

And the tomatoes: in the greenhouse, I cultivated like every year different kinds. All very successful this year, no blight, no other diseases so far. Same with the cucumbers and peppers. Sounds like a miracle.

And the berries: whereas red berries and black berries and gooseberries were extremely successul, the raspberries (spring version) weren't. Though they looked very promising initially, the fruits dried oud completely. Hopefully the autumn variety will do better.

Is the strange weather linked to climate changes? Probably yes, as in general, over the last decades, we see in general plants starting to grow earlier, while different types of weather (rain dry, sunny, hot) seem to last much longer than in the past.
